In order to become a CA you need to register with ICAI for your foundation level only if you are directly joining after 12th or 10th, or you can also join inter mediate level after your graduation in any business field.
There are three levels that are important to qualify for an aspirant to become a professional CA, foundation is the first level of CA exams and is considered to be the easiest of all because it only contains 4 subjects while on the other hand intermediate level which is the second stage of your dreams has 8 subjects which are similar to doing 3 years of any business related bachelors degree.
This level is actually quiet challenging because the time you get to prepare for inter is only 8 months after the registration level.
