The Syllabus is divided into 2 parts\r\n- GST\r\n- CUSTOM LAW\r\nAs well know GST is very easy and very scoring so do more focus on GST instead of custom law.\r\nFirst of all start with chapter wise devote 3-4 hours daily if you are preparing one group only and devote 2 hours daily if you are preparing both groups.\r\nRevision is must at the end of the day for atleast 15-20 minutes.\r\nStart with Introduction chapter as it is considered as important from MCQ point of view.\r\nAfter introduction, start with Supply chapter where main area to focus is Definition of Supply\r\nAfter that do Chapters like Place of Supply, Time of Supply & Value of supply as these are easy and less time consuming. In these chapters, try to focus on the provisions and then solve the Questions from Institute Material\r\nAfter these heavy chapters go through small chapters like Tax Invoice, Debit Credit Notes, accounts, Payment or Tax etc.\r\nThen start with Input Tax Credit which is considered to be most important chapter as we have seen in our last attempt. Try to solve variety of questions from this Chapter, you can even refer some reference book to solve ITC Questions\r\nAfter ITC, start with preparation of exemptions chapter. At last go through assessments Penalties, advance ruling and misc chapters etc.\r\nAfter completion, start with Custom Law\r\nPreparation Tips:-\r\nFirst of All Read provisions Then Solve its Practical Questions Then go for MCQ of these provisions (chapter wise) (MCQ also provided in Notes Section) At the end of the day revise memorise all the topics in mind and try to write the provisions by heart for atleast 10-15 minutes (Because there is a much Need to Retain Provisions in mind. So revision is must)  \r\nFirst complete your syllabus then in the month of May Devote 4 whole days for IDT Revision\r\nIst day- GST (half) + MCQ\r\n2ND days- GST (half) + MCQ\r\n3RD days- CUSTOM + MCQ\r\n4TH days- RTP, MTP, QUESTION PAPER ETC\r\nIn follow the approach of writing provision of act according to question then analysis and end with a conclusion\r\nDon’t forget to underline main words/lines.\r\nYou will definitely score 60 + marks in IDT because it is very easy subject. Main thing is how much time you speed on its revision in a day.\r\n \r\nHow to utilize 15 minutes allotted to go through question paper?\r\n·Read your question paper thoroughly to understand which question is asked from chapter.  \r\n·Set the sequence in which you will attempt your exam. Always start with your best and end with your worst. This will help you secure good marks in your best answers.  \r\n·Once you have set your sequence then start framing your answers to the questions you will be attempting initially. If sometime happens that you are not able to attempt one subpart of question in that case leave appropriate space for that answer and try to attempt your next best. You should not allot more time to one single question as it is rightly said that – 6 average answers will fetch you more marks than 5 good. So if you are not able to complete the answer don’t stick to it, leave it and go for the next question.\r\n \r\nPresentation tips\r\n· Write neatly and avoid cutting.  \r\n· Make short para’s of 4-5 lines each.  \r\n· Leave proper space and start new para after leaving 1 blank line.  \r\n· Underline key-words  \r\n· Proper alignment should be there.  \r\n· If answer is to be given point-wise, always answer in point wise one below the other.  \r\n· To the extent possible, answer to the point.  \r\n· Always write question number and sub question clearly on the left had side of the page.  \r\n· Proper heading should be there.  \r\n· Always mention the act to which the section belongs. Also mention the year in which the act was passed.  \r\n· Include short introduction and conclusion para  \r\n· Don’t focus on quantity, focus on quality content Language to be used in exams\r\n \r\nThe Syllabus is divided into 2 parts\r\n- GST\r\n- CUSTOM LAW\r\nAs well know GST is very easy and very scoring so do more focus on GST instead of custom law.\r\nFirst of all start with chapter wise devote 3-4 hours daily if you are preparing one group only and devote 2 hours daily if you are preparing both groups.\r\nRevision is must at the end of the day for atleast 15-20 minutes.\r\nStart with Introduction chapter as it is considered as important from MCQ point of view.\r\nAfter introduction, start with Supply chapter where main area to focus is Definition of Supply\r\nAfter that do Chapters like Place of Supply, Time of Supply & Value of supply as these are easy and less time consuming.
