As per section 173(1) first board meeting to be held within 30 days of incorporation. Subsequently 4 meetings in a calender year 1. Is there any relaxation given in companies act during the year of incorporation? Suppose a company is incorporated in June does it have to hold 4 meetings in second half year itself? 2. Are the 4 board meetings in addition to first board meeting. i.e., in the year of incorporation does company need to hold 5 board meetings?\r\n
