The candidate can skip this entry-level examination if he has completed his graduation or post-graduation in the commerce stream and attained a maximum of 55% or 60% from another stream. Secondly, Mercantile Laws means all the laws included in a company to handle or look after its commercial activities. It deals with all the commercial transactions of the trader. The commercial transactions include the agreements between parties, operational activities, the delegation of work, financial transactions, memorandum of associations, etc. So let us understand the meaning of Mercantile Law and its sources, and scope. 

It includes The Indian Contract Act, 1872 - Summary of Sections 1 to 75 covering the general nature of the contract, consideration, and other essential elements of a valid contract, performance of the contract, and breach of contract. Secondly the Sale of Goods Act, 1930 - Formation of the contract of sale, Conditions, and Warranties, Transfer of ownership and delivery of goods, Unpaid seller and his rights. And lastly The India Partnership Act, 1932 - General Nature of Partnership, Rights, and Duties of Partners, Registration, and dissolution of a firm. 

Secondly, lastly, we have the subject of General Economics which includes topics such as introduction to Micro Economics, Theory of Production and Cost, Price Determination in Different Markets, microeconomics, Theory of Demand and Supply, Money and Banking, Indian Economy – A Profile, Select Aspects of Indian Economy, Indian Economic Development, Economic Reforms in India. and at last, mathematics comes what we generally call the Quantitative Aptitude and under this Sets, Relations and Functions, Sequence and Series, Arithmetic and geometric progressions, Index Numbers, Ratio and proportion, Logarithms, Indices, Simple and Compound Interest, Equations, Inequalities, Regression and Correlation,  Basic concepts of Permutations and Combinations, Basic concepts of Differential and Integral Calculus, Theoretical Distributions, Measures of Central Tendency and Dispersion, Limits, and Continuity, Intuitive Statistical description of data, Sampling Theory Topics  are covered and many students face problem under this subject because many students face problem in solving high calculations.
